Max is an outstanding stallion.
He stands 18.1 hands with heavy
bone, classic markings, and
traditional leg feathering of
the Gypsy Horses. Max is
PREMIUM registered with NASHDA,
PDR, and is appendix registered
with GCDHA. Max is high
percentage Shire (minimum 3/4
Shire parentage) and 100% draft
breed. He possesses
immense power, tempered with
grace and agility. He had
excellent offspring in 2004,
when bred to light mares to
produce beautiful sport horses
with lots of natural leg action.
All foals by Max are eligible
for registration with NASHDA and
PDR. All gypsy type mares
are also eligible for
cross-registration with GCDHA.
The Drum Horses are a cross
between Gypsy Horses and Shire
or Clydesdale Horses.
These horses would usually range
in height from 16 -18 hands.
Drum Horses are most commonly
found in Britain carrying two
heavy drums on their backs in
parades for the Queen.
However in England the term
"Drum Horses" is based as an
occupation not a breed.
